Binh Thuan

 Binh Thuan province is situated in the South Central Coast Region of Vietnam. It is surrounded by famous tourist destinations such as Nha Trang city, Da Lat city, Vung Tau city and Ho Chi Minh city. The biggest land and also the most famous region in Binh Thuan is Phan Thiet.
 Binh Thuan lies in the monsoon tropical zone. The climate is separated in two distinct seasons: The rainy season lasts from May to October. The dry season from November to April of the following year. The average temperature is 26 – 27 0C.
Binh Thuan has many forests so that wood, cashew nut processing and handicraft are strong point of province. The long coast-side is convenient for sea economy such as fish catching, salt and fish sauce processing, frozen seafood. Binh Thuan attracts tourists by lovely landscapes. The mountains lie from west to east and reach beautiful beaches. Famous beaches include those in Mui Ne, Hon Rom (Phan Thiet), Thuan Quy (Ham Thuan Nam), Cam Binh (La Gi), Binh Thanh (Tuy Phong).
Binh Thuan is also famous for historical-cultural heritages such as Po Sah Inu Cham towers, Ke Ga lighthouse and pagodas on Ta Cu mountain.
Binh Thuan has a diversified culture of 30 ethnic groups. The stamp of Sa Huynh and Cham ancient cultures have been preserved include clothes, musical instruments, dances, and singings. The ancient architecture, archaeologic relics, historic vestiges, traditional festivals of Viet, Cham are together for making the special culture of Binh Thuan.
