Can Tho

 Situated on the North side of the downstream of Tien River, at the centre of Mekong River Delta, Can Tho, the city of Tien Giang Province has been known as the Capital of the West.
The city has a total area of 1, 404.60 km2 and  shares borders with An Giang Province in the north, Dong Thap and Vinh Long Province in the east, Kien Giang Province in the west, and Hau Giang Province in the south. The city is far from Ho Chi Minh city 169 km, Ca Mau City 178 km and Rach Gia City 128 km.

 Can Tho City has two seasons of rain and dry seasons.The rain season lasts from May to September. From December to April the following year is the dry season.The average temperature is  27 º C.
While famous for its pastoral beauty of complex waterway network and lush fruit orchards, Can Tho is also a buzzy city with sufficient facilities to accommodate and entertain visitors both domestic and abroad. With an average temperature of 27 Celsius degree, Can Tho is an all-year-round travel destination. The most famous places in the city are Cai Rang Floating Market, Bang Lang Stork Park, Binh Thuy French House, Nam Nha Pagoda and Tay Do Night Market.
