Nha Trang

Nha Trang is a coastal city and is also the economic-cultural-political-and-tourist center of Khanh Hoa Province. Its long and beautiful beaches are the main advantages that make this city a potential destination to attract tourists. This land is covered with a mild climate, and owns a convenient waterway, roadway, airway and railway transportation system.

Nha Trang has a metropolitan area of 251 km² and a population of about 500,000 (as of 2007). It is bordered by Ninh Hòa town to the north, Cam Ranh city to the south, Diên Khánh town to the west and the  East Sea to the east. The city is located on the beautiful Nha Trang Bay, which was chosen by Travel and Leisure in two succeeding years as one of the 29 most beautiful bays in the world. Nha Trang is surrounded on three sides by mountains and a large island on the fourth side (in the ocean directly in front of the city's main area), blocking major storms from potentially damaging the city.

Nha Trang is called  “the Pearl of the Orient”, where people can clean themselves up and swipe away profane desires and daily troubles to take on brand-new things. The city is small, yet it holds a truly hidden beauty and a strong vitality that are challenging to be explored. Nha Trang owns a tranquil and gentle scenery without any fuss or luxury that definitely leaves tourists with a huge long-lasting impression. It was the chosen location for several festivals like Miss Universe 2008, Miss World 2010 and has been the offical location for the Annual Sea Festival.
