Vinh Phuc

Vinh Phuc province is situated in the Red River Delta, 40km far from Hanoi. It shares borders with Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang in the North, Phu Tho in the West, Adjacent to Ha Noi Capital in the Southeast.
Vinh Phuc is located in the transition region between hilly midland and the Red River Delta zones. Therefore, the terrain is low gradually from Northwest to Southeast and divided into three ecological zones: Lowland, midland and mountainous region.
Vinh Phuc Province is located in the tropical monsoon climate zone. The average temperature of 23.20C – 250C , rainfall 1.500 – 1.700 ml, average humidity is 84-85%, with the sun shining hour of 1400 – 1800 hours per year. Prevailing wind direction is Southeast blows from April to September, Northeast winds blows from October to March of the following year, accompanied by hoarfrost. Particularly Tam Dao Mountain is cool climate all year round (average temperature of 180C) along with lush mountain forests, suitable for the development of tourism activities, leisure and entertainment.
There are nearly 1,000 cultural-historical heritage sites, of which hundreds have been lassified as national and provincial endowments. To cite there are Hai Ba Trung Temple, Tay Thien Scenery, general Tran Nguyen Han Temple, Ha Tien Pagoda, Huong Canh communal houses, Go Dau ruins, Tay Thien Truc Lam meditation center. Noteworthy festivities are Hai Ba Trung temple celebration, Tay Thien feast, Hai Luu bull fight celebration, Huong Canh rattan tug of war, fish catching tournament etc…
Tam Dao Mountain chain spreads in the northeast south east direction over 50km long riding across 3 provinces, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and showing 3 peaks named Thien Thi, Thach Lam, Phu Nghia. National Tam Dao Parks is endowed with rich fauna and flora, luxuriant forests where thrive 490 higher plant divisions consisting of 334 branches and 130 families, of which several rare species of high economic value may serve in scientific research as well as in development of ecological-health restoration tourism.
Vinh Phuc Province avails a network of ponds, rivers and streams extremely diverse and rich, blended with natural scenery well worth development fortourist purposes such as Dai Lai Lake (Phuc Yen Town) 500ha large, Thanh Lanh Lake - Ba Ao rapids(Binh Xuyen District) nearly 300ha large, Bo Lac,  Van Truc lakes (Lap Thach District) more than 600ha large; Vac swamp (Vinh Yen) … These places are ideal sites to attract investors to build entertainment-amusement facilities. Dung swamp (Vinh Tuong) with nearly 100ha expanse, Ha Xuong, Lang Ha lakes, Ban Long - Thac Bac rapids (Tam Dao) are Vinh Phuc’s precious nature endowments.
